New TMFIT Gym & Physiotherapy Opening February 2012

Work is under way on a new 1-2-1 Personal Training Gym and Physiotherapy Suite at our present site on Warners Farm, Howe Street.
Jon Macormish of Chelmsford Physio Clinic will be joining forces with TMFIT to provide a full physiopherapy and rehab service.  The new gym will also mean that we will be offering more group classes at the old site  along with new classes for the future, such as Fit 2 Ski and Pre & Post natal Exercise.  We may also be in a position to hold ‘Open Sessions’ where you will be able to come and use the gym of your own accord.
We will be holding a open day at some point at the beginning of February and will be posting the details of this in due course.

New Class Timetable – September / October

Please see below the new 7 week timetable for September, which now includes a new Mixed Group PT class on Wednesday evenings at 19:30 and an extra Ladies Group PT class on Friday mornings at 09:30.

Please note that each class runs for 7 weeks from the start date, at a cost of £56.00 per course.  Please call or email to confirm your interest as most classes are already nearly full.

TMFIT – Top 10 Diet Tips

Losing weight is not easy, especially at this time of year, but to be successful you need to stick to a few simple rules if you want to shed some pounds before the Spring.

Below is the TMFIT top 10 tips to help you get started.

1, EAT 3 MEALS PER DAY

2, SNACK ON 3 PEICES OF FRUIT & 1 HEALTHY YOGHURT

3, TAKE PACKED LUNCHES TO WORK – rice dishes, jacket potatoes, etc

4, PLAN YOUR MEALS (if your fail to prepare you prepare to fail)

5, CUT DOWN ON PORTION SIZE

6, NO CARBOHYDRATES AFTER 6PM – eat more lean meat, fish, loads of veg & salad.

7, NO ALCOHOL MONDAY – THURSDAY (cut-down at weekend)

8, CUT OUT JUNK SNACKS – such as crisps, chocolate, fizzy drinks, etc.

9, ONLY 2 SLICES OF BREAD PER DAY

10, DRINK 2 LITRES OF WATER PER DAY

PLUS: START COOKING!

There are loads of great tasting healthy recipes on-line, so stop cooking the same old boring meals and re-invent your menu!
